Screenplays

Kicking In EddieI have two feature-length screenplays: Exit Strategies and Kicking In Eddie.

Exit Strategies

Adapted from my novel of the same name, Exit Strategies is a scam thriller about a man trying to escape his own life.

Vic, a disgruntled obituary writer, calculates the exact sum of money he would need never to have to work again. He then hatches a plan to make all that cash in one go, without hurting anyone in the process.

Meanwhile the latest corpse on his desk is a lottery winner turned pop star who has taken his own life. The man’s widow offers another escape route from the mundane, but there’s just one problem: he thinks she may have murdered her husband.

Kicking In Eddie

Kit’s getting married. His friends want to give him a royal send-off, for old times, but Kit’s reluctant. It’s a stag night that isn’t a stag night.

Wallowing in past glories, they devise a worthy entertainment for Kit’s farewell: they are going to beat up a tramp. Not just any tramp, though, this is Eddie Flynn, their shared childhood bogeyman. Once the local tough guy, a semi-mythical hard man, now a derelict sleeping rough. But just how far has Eddie fallen, and how far will these three friends fall to find him?
