Coming to Brighton in May 2011, I’ll be putting on a double bill of my plays The Inside Man and The Interview.

This exciting new project will be part of the Brighton Festival Fringe 2011, which runs throughout May. The Fringe is the largest annual arts festival in England.

Shows are now confirmed at Upstairs at Three and Ten on:

Friday 13 May (3pm)
Saturday 14 May (3pm)
Sunday 15 May (3pm)
Tuesday 17 May (8.30pm)

Well, I’ve finally got around to recording a couple of excerpts from Exit Strategies to post on the site. Takes longer than you’d think to get it right.

Anywhere, here they are. The first is an introduction to the novel followed by the opening section of Chapter One, where we find Vic arriving at work to take part in the dissection of a corpse.

And here is an excerpt from Chapter Four. Vic’s initial money-making schemes have all fallen flat and now he needs a haircut before his date with the widow. Cue Francesco the barbarian barber and his spiteful sidekick Vito.
