I’ve posted the first section of The Inside Man in the Plays section today.
For those who haven’t seen the play, The Inside Man is a comedy thriller about a bungled robbery. Boris and Carol have a problem. They are tied together in the back room of the jewellery shop where Carol works and they won’t be going anywhere until the man in the balaclava has emptied the safe upstairs. But Carol has an extra problem: Boris just won’t shut up.
The Inside Man was one half of our recent double bill at the Brighton Fringe. The other half, The Interview, is also available to read on this site. Of course I don’t want to give away all the twists and turns, so I’ve only posted the opening pages to whet your appetite. If you’d like to read the whole play please send me an email.

Well, our run at the Brighton Fringe has ended. Thanks to all who came along to make the show such a success. If you enjoyed watching the plays as much as we enjoyed putting them on I’m a very happy man.
We had a lovely four-star review from FringeGuru, who thought that The Interview in particular was ‘inspirationally conceived and skilfully executed… a compelling realisation of a disturbingly believable script’. I would only like to add my heartfelt thanks to the cast and director for their endless effort, imagination and dedication to the project.
Read the full FringeGuru review here.
So what next? People keep asking me and I’m not quite sure. We’d love to put both plays on again if we can find the right venue, and I’ve got a couple of ideas for new projects bubbling under. Rest assured I’ll post any news here first!
